Jude 22

 And have mercy on those who doubt;

Observation/ Meaning

#3. Jude advises us to have mercy. Mercy to friends and families who are under false teachers and risk being led astray. I think this means that we need to be empathetic to our peers who are in such circumstances. It is helpful to remember that they too may not be aware that they are being misled.

Nevertheless, Jude calls us to be merciful to them.

Are you aware of people around you who may be under false teachings?

My Reflection:

“I think few of us are aware of the presence of false teachings, much less friends and family who are under such teachings. I myself was clueless until I read the new testament more comprehensively.

Jude’s reminder is a reminder to me that as I continue to grow in my knowledge of Jesus, I need to ensure that the knowledge does not make me arrogant, but rather to show mercy to those around me and to express grace while I share the truth of Jesus with them.”

How about you?

I utilize the COMA method in my Bible Studies.
